Over the past few months, concerns have been growing about the progress of artificial intelligence (AI), especially in Hollywood. However, former “Dukes Of Hazzard” star John Schneider is not afraid of artificial intelligence for a very simple reason.
Schneider is “not afraid” of artificial intelligence
“What AI doesn't have and what AI can't emulate is heart and soul. So, I'm not afraid of AI,” Schneider, 63, told Fox News recently.
He continued, “A lot of people talk about AI like it's a terrible, terrible thing that's coming. I think it's a cream of the powder at best.” “You know, it's coffee buddy. It'll never be half and half. It'll never even get to 2%.” [milk]. “It will always be a powder cow.”
“Now, it may be good, it may taste good, but it's not milk and it's not half-and-half. It's not a dairy product. So, I'm not worried about that,” Schneider added. “I don't think anyone should be worried about that.”
Artificial intelligence was one of the major issues in negotiations during the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes that shut down Hollywood for much of last summer and fall. Despite some concerns from others to the contrary, Schneider is confident that humans will never be completely replaced by artificial intelligence when it comes to the creative process in Hollywood.
“When things get on the road, the great content comes from inspiration, which I believe comes when your heart and soul collide with each other,” Schneider said. “This will not happen in artificial intelligence.”
“So take that, AI! I'm not worried about you,” he concluded with a laugh. “You, coffee man, are a false crushed cow!”

Justin Bateman's warning about artificial intelligence
While Schneider seems optimistic that artificial intelligence does not pose a threat to humans in Hollywood, other stars are not so sure.
“I think generative AI is one of the worst ideas we've ever had in this society,” “Family Ties” star Justine Bateman told Deadline in November when she warned of the dangers of using “artificial performers” to take their place. Live actors.
Bateman, 57, has spent much of the past year trying to sound the alarm about artificial intelligence in Hollywood.

“Using AI makes me sad”
Bateman went on to talk about why the idea of the spread of artificial intelligence is “sad.”
“Using AI makes me sad because I feel like it… takes away from me being human,” Bateman explained. “But we've done a lot of that, haven't we? Plastic surgery. Filters. Doing things over Zoom instead of in person. But the idea of someone using AI to replace human expression, I think that's the saddest thing to me.”
