Good morning. River levels are falling, which is great news. Unfortunately, we have more rain in our future.
Here's a look at the river levels now….all are above flood stage.
The Pawtuxet River will continue to fall today, but there will be a slight rise with more rain Friday night.
Flood warnings continue for all major rivers.
Another flood watch has been issued.
today
It will be cold and dry today with sunshine mixing with clouds at times. Highs will be in the low 40s. It will be a bit breezy at times with west winds between 5 and 15 mph

Tonight
It will be clear and a little cooler tonight, with lows around 30.
tomorrow
It will be dry during the day Friday with afternoon highs in the mid 40s, but another rain/wind storm will arrive overnight. Although it will not be as severe as Tuesday night's storm, we will see additional rainfall that will likely cause flooding.
We expect rain to begin before midnight Friday – Saturday morning.
There will be fairly heavy rain overnight with increasing south-easterly winds. We may hear some thunder sounds.
Rain is coming early Saturday…and by 9am, the skies should dry out. However, we will need to monitor the rivers closely over the weekend.
An additional 1-2 inches of rain is expected by Saturday morning.
