Former President Obama appears to be sweating the prospect of Trump beating Biden in the fall election.
He has good reason to be concerned, as Trump is already leading Biden in many polls, and the country is clearly unhappy with the direction of almost everything under Biden.
One has to wonder why Obama invested so much in Joe Biden's success. Is it just partisanship or does he have something to lose personally?

Former President Obama is becoming increasingly concerned about the approaching 2024 presidential election and fears that former President Trump may reclaim the White House, according to a report.
Former Attorney General Eric Holder, one of Obama's closest confidantes, told USA Today that if Trump wins the Republican nomination and beats President Biden next November, “incalculable damage” could be done to the country.
Holder confirmed that Obama “certainly” holds the same views when the newspaper asked him.
“I think that's what motivates him. I think that's what will continue to motivate him,” Holder replied.
Individuals within Obama's inner orbit said he thought the race would be very close, according to USA Today. For this reason, Obama will try to “move the needle” toward Biden with calculated moments throughout the election campaign.
NBC News claims that Obama and Biden held a lunch meeting in December to discuss the matter.

In many ways, Trump's election in 2016 was a repudiation of Obama and the policies of his presidency. Democrats know this, but they don't care. They will do anything to stay in power.
