BIG|BRAVE announced a follow-up last year Still lifes. it's called Flower chaos, and is led by the new single “Felt Like a Funeral,” inspired by the poetry of Emily Dickinson. Check out the video below.
“In producing this video, we used a process similar to what we do when writing music,” guitarist Mathieu Paul explained in a statement. “Since we have learned to let the flow of ideas take their course, the process of creating works, whether with completed concepts or with an incomplete idea, the beginning of the work itself acts as a kind of guide to where the final result could go. We realized that something less visual than we had initially imagined It is the path we must take.
Paul added that by using a single take, “the performer (Robin) and the audience engage in this visual and audio conversation together creating a more intimate visual space. The audience is led in and out of its intimate space while keeping them at a safe distance. Combined with the lyrical content, it can be seen as an appropriate representation of the elements of Mental breakdown – a streamlined visual dance with the inner and outer world.
