Watch: Trump warns Obama could be indicted for drone strikes if court rules against immunity claims | Critic portal

President Trump's attorney John Sawyer appeared before a three-judge panel of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday morning to discuss Trump's immunity claims in the Jack Smith case in D.C.

The three-judge panel is hearing oral arguments on the immunity claims: Florence Pan (Biden's nominee), Michelle Childs (Biden's nominee), and Karen Henderson (George W. Bush's nominee).

Remember, Jack Smith completely went off the rails and told a federal appeals court that Trump's immunity argument would allow him to order his supporters to kill opposition lawmakers.

Trump's lawyers argued that Trump is immune from federal prosecution for alleged “crimes” he committed while serving as president of the United States.

Jack Smith said that Trump is not immune from prosecution because he may order the killing of his political opponents or sell nuclear secrets.

Oral arguments began in the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, Judge Chutkan ordered a stay of all proceedings in Jack Smith's case in D.C. pending appeal.

A three-judge panel heard oral arguments Tuesday and appeared skeptical of Trump's immunity claims — one judge, a Biden appointee, asked attorney John Sawyer whether Trump would be subject to criminal prosecution if he ordered SEAL Team 6 to assassinate his political rivals.

“Can a president who ordered SEAL Team 6 to assassinate a political rival, and was not impeached, be subject to criminal prosecution?” Judge Florence Pan asked one of Biden's appointees, John Sawyer.

John Sawyer, former Solicitor General of Missouri and friend of The Gateway Pundit, responded, “If he is impeached and convicted first… My answer is qualified yes, there is a political process that must take place within the structure of our Constitution that would require impeachment and conviction by the Senate In these exceptional cases…”

Trump, surrounded by his lawyers after appearing in court, warned of the possibility of bringing Barack Obama to trial for his drone strikes that killed civilians.

“It would be a crapshoot in the country if the trial went ahead,” Trump said.

Biden could also be tried over his failed withdrawal from Afghanistan that led to the deaths of 13 US soldiers.

I think the worst moment in our country's history was Afghanistan – the way we withdrew. Ashamed. We gave up. People were killed, 13 great soldiers were killed…[Biden] He could be prosecuted for that. “So you can't have a president without immunity,” Trump said.

One of Trump's lawyers said that just as they argued that Obama could be sued over drone strikes, Jack Smith suddenly pivoted and said Obama should be protected from criminal prosecution because of presidential immunity.

    He watches:

Donald Trump's full statements after the presidential immunity hearing…

Listen carefully… And look at how calm, calm and collected this man is. He exudes confidence and strength.

The whole focus of this is that if he can be prosecuted, then others like Bush can also be prosecuted,… pic.twitter.com/igRlZWExFZ
