    No snow this morning! Heavy rain and damaging winds will taper off as the morning progresses. Some intermittent rain is likely during the day and the situation will turn calm for tomorrow and Friday before the next wind and rainstorm arrives Friday night and Saturday.

    Early Dismissal, Closure, and Delay in Connecticut

    Early this morning: Heavy rains and strong winds subside. Residual coastal, river, street and basement flooding is possible. Sporadic power outages too! Temperatures in the 40s and 50s.


    today: Heavy rain tapered off to intermittent showers early. Partly cloudy, with some sun and intermittent showers. Still quite windy. Temperatures start out in the 50s and 40s and drop in the afternoon.

    Thursday: Brighter with highs in the mid 40s.

    Friday: Increasing clouds with highs in the mid 40s. Rain develops overnight.

    Saturday: More rain and wind. Highs are in the mid to mid 50s.

    Sunday: Brighter and cooler. Highs in the mid 30s.

    King's day: It becomes cloudy with snow or rain at night. Highs are in the mid to mid 30s.

    Tuesday: Monitor the possibility of rain and/or snow. Highs in the 30s.
