Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly spoke out this week to criticize singer Taylor Swift for her negative reaction to comedian host Joe Koy who made a joke about her at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.
Kelly seems down on Swift
Page Six reported that Swift, 34, was seen staring at Coy, 52, after he joked that the Golden Globes used “less camera shots” of the “Anti-Hero” singer than NFL games, where she was seen posing She cheers for her boyfriend. Travis Kelce in recent weeks.
“Can't she show that she's a good sport? I think she made the wrong move,” Kelly, 53, said on her SiriusXM show Monday, adding that Coy's joke was just a “nice pass.”
“By the way, she's not responsible for how many times the NFL chooses to put her on camera. It's not her fault,” she continued. “It's annoying, and if she was smart she would laugh like it was in on a joke.”
Kelly went on to say that if she were Swift's “advisor,” she would have told her to be a good sport about the joke to show that she understood that the NFL's visual coverage of her “was a bit much.”
“[Her facial expression] It sounded like, “How dare you question me and my popularity,” Kelly concluded.

Kelly calls for a boycott of Swift
It comes one month after Kelly called for a boycott of Swift after the singer attended a charity event benefiting a charity in Gaza.
“You clearly don't know anything,” Kelly said, addressing Swift directly in her rant. “Do you know what they are doing to this community in Gaza, Taylor, that you now want to support?”
“Do you know what Hamas likes to do to women?” she added. “Do you think we have equal rights there, Taylor?”
Kelly was angry after Swift was seen at a Ramy Youssef performance at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where the benefits of the show went to the American Near East Refugee Assistance Organization (ANERA). Kelly described this organization as “highly political, presents a highly biased view of the war between Israel and Palestine, ignores any Palestinian responsibility for the difficulties, and contributes to the demonization of Israel.”
“This is a group that Taylor Swift thought it might be fun to help raise money for and attend a fundraiser for, and she owes Israelis and Jewish Americans an apology,” Kelly concluded. “And I hope they boycott her events until she releases it because attending this thing was wrong. “It was a mistake.”

Coy defends Swift joke
After the Golden Globes, Cowie defended his joke about Swift when he addressed the backlash.
“Oh, man, it was cute. “I was just saying it was cute,” Coy told Entertainment Tonight. “I was just saying it was less cutting, that’s all.”
Swift has also defended herself when it comes to the controversy over the way the NFL covers her attendance at Kelce's games.
“I'm just there to support Travis,” Swift said recently. “I have no awareness of whether I am showing too much and angering some parents, brads and chads.”
