All great revolutions meet resistance as social change works its way through the people. This can happen gradually and then suddenly, but resistance will be there. People do not change their views about the world easily. We (the Americans) are about to experience the next chapter in the great cash war, via the approval of a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund. This approval will change the course of Bitcoin adoption for better or worse, and is a good reason to warn of what is to come.
Approval of a Bitcoin ETF will send a huge message to money managers around the world that “we, the US government, consider Bitcoin a safe asset that you can invest in.” Now, if you're like me, you don't care much about what the SEC says or does, this is freedom money. But for millions of people across America, this is a big green flag that it is safe to be exposed to Bitcoin.
If you've spent any time on Twitter or followed financial markets news, you've probably been sick and tired of hearing Bitcoin ETF order form updates, postponed deadlines, insider whispers, and all the nonsense that accompanies this big moment. For good reason, this is getting a ton of coverage, and for that reason alone you should pause to think about what's going to happen. The tin foil hat inside me is buzzing. When media coverage is in full swing, it usually means that something is being coordinated.
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”
– Mahatma Gandhi
So what exactly is being formatted? Good question, I don't have answers, just speculation. I expect the ETF approval will send shockwaves through the markets one way or another with both intended and unintended consequences. The part that worries me is that we are in the crosshairs of the United States government as a threat to the regime. As Gandhi put it, we are firmly in the “then they fight you” phase of the revolution, and the only thing about this fight is that the US government is likely to fight unconventionally. There is a 100% guarantee that they are performing psychological operations on social media, and trained speakers have been running their lines for months. Both activities will increase, paving the way for US government intervention and a possible expropriation scenario. There are a lot of things going on right now with the ETF, the halving, the elections, the overall macroeconomic situation, the war in the east… how will this work?
Fuzzy timeline
- European Training Foundation approved
- The New York banking cartel began to pile heavy
- Waves of new experts are entering the scene, wreaking havoc, and they are here to “fix” Bitcoin.
- The US government raises more flags about Bitcoin's threat to US sovereignty
- Banking cartel accumulation in New York increases as interest rises (Streisand effect)
- The US government issues 6,102 bitcoins
- The US government launches a CBDC also known as Stablecoin linked to newly confiscated BTC
- Criminalizing Ethical Bitcoin (KYC-Free)
- The fork war between government currencies and Bitcoin
- The US government is learning the hard way about how the Bitcoin network defends itself
It could all be the delusional fantasy of a conspiracy man, but it's worth considering to at least consider what we're up against. In the best case scenario, the US government will do nothing to interfere in the markets and Bitcoin will take us to the stars. In another plausible scenario, we could see Mark Goodwin's dollar thesis over Bitcoin come true when the US government discovers that Bitcoin is the cleanest asset and instrument to support the endless US Treasury market. And based on the US government's track record, I expect them to intervene in a very negative way, and much sooner than anyone could imagine because the value of Bitcoin will skyrocket. “Gradually and then suddenly” will make more sense when we enter the “suddenly” phase of the fight.
Despite my pessimistic outlook on what to expect from the US government, I am very optimistic about the individual. I've seen more construction in the Bitcoin space over the past halving than I could have imagined. This war will not be easy, and I know for sure that we will enter the “then you win” phase soon enough.
