Judge Judy Sheindlin has defied the liberal world of Hollywood to formally endorse Republican candidate Nikki Haley in this year's presidential election.
Sheindlin endorses Haley
Sheindlin (81 years old) said in a statement issued by the Haley campaign, according to what was reported by Fox News: “I am proud to endorse Nikki Haley because she is smart, has executive qualifications, and has been a wonderful governor.”
She continued: “She has international weight as an ambassador to the United Nations.” “She is principled, thoughtful and has that elusive quality of real common sense. I truly believe she can take back America and I believe she is the future of this great nation.”
Haley responded to the endorsement by saying: “Judge Judy is a no-nonsense woman who has earned the respect of millions of Americans in her courtroom by being thoughtful, fair and honest. I am honored to have her support.”

Sheindlin fires up 'PC Police'
Although Sheindlin endorsed Democratic nominee Michael Bloomberg in the 2020 presidential election, she has become disillusioned with cancel culture and the “PC police” in the years since.
“Do you have a fear of voicing your opinion, for fear of being pigeonholed and cancelled? It's a scary place for America,” Sheindlin told The Hollywood Reporter in 2021. “I'm not a big fan of the PC police.”
“Is it wise to say to people who are 19 or 23, who don't have a job, who don't have any prospects, who have six kids, 'Find something else to do with this organ?'” She added: No. “But where I come from, “I saw the horrors of this kind of neglect.”
Sheindlin went on to say that people need to take responsibility for their actions.
“If you're a bad person, if you do something wrong, you have to be prepared to pay the piper,” Sheindlin explained. “And there are people who did exactly that. They paid the price with their good name and their mark. This is a good thing.”

Haley's presidential race
Haley currently ranks second behind former President Donald Trump in New Hampshire, where the first presidential primary is being held.
“We can feel the momentum on the ground,” Haley said last weekend. “We can feel the excitement.”
Haley also called on the Supreme Court to keep Trump on the ballot, because she wants to beat him “fairly.”
““No, it should not be taken off the ballot, and the Supreme Court should rule quickly before other states start doing so,” Haley said. “This is one of those, don't open the door if you don't want to see what's going on, this is a door we don't need to open. I will beat President Trump fair and square. I don't need anyone to kick him off the ballot to do this“.
The Iowa caucuses are less than a week away, scheduled to take place on January 15.
Whether Haley is your favorite candidate or not, it's certainly refreshing to see a celebrity like Judge Judy Sheindlin challenge the liberal world of entertainment by publicly endorsing a Republican candidate. Hopefully more celebrities will have the courage to do the same as we head into this election!
