CNN's first projection of the Electoral College map is great news for Trump and not at all good news for Biden.
Trump is already over 270 based on current polling data.
Does everyone remember in 2016 when the left threw up a six-month dispute over the Electoral College after Trump won? And we may have to go through this again a year from now when Trump is sworn in.
Red State reports:
CNN's first election map shows that Biden is in deep trouble, and Trump is in a position to win
CNN has released its first election map of the campaign season and “Road to 270.” The map is based on polling and other factors that they detailed.
And this is the path to 270 that we are trying to explore here. We base this current view on public and private polling, and conversations with campaign consultants, Republican and Democratic political operatives, members of Congress, and political professionals involved with outside groups preparing for activity in the race.
First, let's start by saying how funny it is that they spent several paragraphs downplaying the importance of the map before they even started talking about it. Here's a small sample.
This is an exercise designed to capture where racing is today. If we have learned anything in modern American political history, it is to expect the unexpected. We don't even know for sure whether Biden and Trump will be the major parties' nominees in the fall. However, since this seems like the most likely option at this point, we explored this initial look through the lens of a Biden vs. Trump race. Future editions of this outlook will likewise reflect the facts of racing as best as we can assess at the time.

2024 map based on CNN forecasts
Obviously, take this with a pinch of salt, but if this is any indication of reality and continues into November, this is going to be an interesting year. pic.twitter.com/IEsIGTaVrX

November is still several months away, but it's good to see things trending in the right direction for Trump.
