Road Town, British Virgin Islands – September 262023 – Bitfinex (www.bitfinex.com/), a modern digital asset trading platform, announced today that it will now support Tether USD (USDt)* deposits and withdrawals and Tether Gold (XAUt) tethering on the Polygon zkEVM* transport layer*

Designed as a solution for scaling Ethereum, Polygon zkEVM uses zero-knowledge proofs to enable faster and cheaper transactions while maintaining the security of the Ethereum mainnet. This integration will allow Bitfinex customers to deposit and withdraw USDt and XAUt bridged on Polygon zkEVM.
