    MEMA Alert: Special Weather Statement – Strong thunderstorms will impact Molokai until 7:45 PM GMT

    Strong thunderstorms will affect Molokai in Maui County through…
    745pm GMT…

    At 621pm GMT, Doppler radar was tracking strong rain showers and
    Isolated thunderstorms along a line extending from near Kipuhi to 93rd
    Miles south of Barbers Point. The movement was northeast at 15 mph.

    Danger…Winds reach 35 to 45 mph.

    Source…Radar indicated.

    Impact… Gusty winds can bring down tree limbs and blow them around
    Unsecured objects.

    Affected sites include…
    Hulehua, Maunalua, Kualapu, Kalaupapa National Park, Puku,
    Owalapu, Kaunakakai, Halawa Valley, Kipuhi, Kawela, Kamalu, and
    Molokai Airport.
