It doesn't matter if your team is charging or floundering.
Benny, Banksy and Buddy – the basketball team – are here to help you with tips to help you recover.
These are the players you should consider buying, keeping and selling in your SuperCoach NBL squad for Round 15.
He sells
Weekly Sales: Jo Lual-Acuil (MEL) $338,700 CTR
Big Joe has to go. It was a case of very close and very far in Lual Aquile's final round. Against the Kings he recorded 9 rebounds after a shot was blocked and the rebound was instead classified as a steal resulting in a loss of double double bonus points. In his second game against the 36ers he did a great job on the glass with 17 rebounds but finished with only 7 points.
Those seven points included shooting 1-4 from the free throw line and 3-13 overall from the field. Just making his free throws would have resulted in a double bonus again. Jo continues a relatively equal share of minutes with Ariel Hukporti and with no signs of change showing, we suggest rolling with Froling in your central position for the rest of the season.
Other players to consider selling…
Luke Travers (MEL) $346,200 GRD/FWD
Despite making the trip to Sydney, our spies tell us Travers didn't bother taking off his earrings because he had made a match-time decision to start the tour. Our spies in Adelaide also told us he looked quite ginger in the warm-up ahead of the match against the 36ers.
After we confirmed that this was not a comment on his hair, it was not surprising to see him missing again. Melbourne only has two rounds of doubleheaders for the remainder of the season and they are separated from each other. Look to replace Travers with Illawarra or New Zealand players who have a much better schedule.
Players injured…
Aside from Travers, there were plenty of players dealing with injuries in the final round including DJ Hogg (SYD), Alex Sarr (PER), Chris Smith (BRI), Alan Williams, Abdel Nader and Gary Brown (SEM). Keep an eye on injury updates for these players and consider trading if necessary.

Contract of the Week: Jaylen Galloway (SYD) $212,700
While a SuperCoach score of 18 wouldn't fill the owners with confidence, the 30 and 29 minutes of court time are very encouraging with no word on DJ Hogg's return at the time of writing. Galloway has not returned to his pre-injury scoring form since returning from a shoulder injury, but it was great to see him step down and become more aggressive last round. If he can combine that aggression with finishing at the rim and add his exemplary steals and blocks; We hope to see the result that the owners will be satisfied with this round.
Other players to consider contract…
Jonah Bolden (SYD) $226,400 FWD/CTR
Jordy Hunter has been the SuperCoach points collector recently. In the final round, Bolden played more minutes than Hunter, despite not getting the start. The reality is that even though the playing cap is approximately 20 minutes each, this will continue to hamper their goal-scoring potential in SuperCoach. At his current price, with double positioning and two double play-in rounds over the next three weeks, you can keep Bolden.
Banksy deals
Each week Banksy will be ranking his favorite cheap players (under 200k) regardless of schedule.
1. Lachlan Ulbrich (ILL) $156,400 FWD/CTR
We were at the top of the Lachy O rankings as a cash cow at the start of the season, but the minutes and production were what we hoped for. At 13 SuperCoach points, we're finally seeing some fantasy value, as Olbrich is averaging 22 SuperCoach points over his last 3 games. The Lachie offers a great option for downgrading, with F/C positional flexibility to match. The Hawks have the best schedule for the remainder of the season which makes the choice even more attractive.
2. Kyle Bowen (MEL) $149,200 FWD
In Luke Travers' absence, Kyle has seen a good increase in minutes which has led to increased production, scoring 21 and 22 SuperCoach points over Melbourne United's two matches in the last round. The red flag is the unknown ocean when Luke Travers returns to action. Although Melbourne has a poor schedule going forward, Bowen will head into Round 15 with a scoreless draw.
3. Tanner Krebs (MEL) $153,300 FWD
Another player was rewarded with a boost in minutes and opportunity with Travers sidelined last round. Cripps had 19 points and 40 SuperCoach points in Melbourne's two matches in the final round. If Travers struggles to return to action, Cripps will continue to see an increase in opportunities at value price heading into Round 15, boasting a competition-best draw of -18 along with a projected $31k price increase.
4. Shannon Scott (BRI) $176,600 total
Scott has struggled to put together consistent results since returning from a hamstring injury, but we're finally starting to see a little bit of normalcy. He has now played 21 minutes or more over his last three games, resulting in an average of 21.6 SuperCoach points per game over the same period. An import with a proven fantasy history at 15 SuperCoach points, Brisbane will play 4 matches over the next two weeks.
5. Gorjak Gak (CRN) $98,000 CTR/FWD
Unfortunately for SEM, Gorjak Gak returned while Alan Williams was sidelined. Stay tuned for an injury update on 'Big Sauce', but Gak will be in high demand by a depleted Phoenix team if Williams is out for much longer. Priced at $98,000, Gak scored 16 SuperCoach points in 18 minutes off the bench and should continue to build on those numbers after missing 7 of Phoenix's last 10 games.
He buys
Buy of the Week: Gary Clark (ILL) $349,300
Although there are a number of options to buy the week, Gary Clark's current form, potential cash generation and favorable timeline see him over the line. Gary has 41 SuperCoach points in each of his last two games, and has double-doubles in both games. 16 points and 13 boards against SEM at 14th Street and 14 points and 12 rebounds against Adelaide at 13th Street. Clarke is averaging 35.5 SuperCoach points per game over his last 6 games, so the model is in his favour. The Hawks also begin a series of 3 rounds of doubleheaders over the next 3 weeks, in fact, Rd 18 is their only single match round for the remainder of the season.
Boydie's Best Buys
Each week, Boydie will rank other top buys for the coming week.
1. Sam Froling (ILL) $351,700 FWD/CTR
Great schedule and is averaging 32 SuperCoach points over his last 6 games and has the all important striker/center aptitude to take home.
2. Tri Kill III (ADL) $340,300 GRD
3 doubles in the next 4 rounds and, dare we say it, a triple double threat at the moment!
3. Justin Robinson (ILL) $262,100 total
He has found a bit of form over the last few weeks, averaging just under 25 SuperCoach points over his last 5 games, and the Hawks' schedule is very exciting.
4. Isaac Humphreys (ADL) $313,500 CTR
Although his last 23 rounds haven't been good, Ice is averaging 31.6 SuperCoach points over his last 6 rounds and has 3 double takes in the next 4 rounds
5. Milton Doyle (TAS) $305,300
After coming out of his last 46 games and averaging 26 SuperCoach points over his last 6 games, we think Milton is slightly undervalued as he arrives at Tassie's double Rd 15
6. Zilan Cheatham (New Zealand) $253,400
7. Anthony Lamb (New Zealand) $438,100
8. William McDowell White (New Zealand) $205,700 total
9. Nathan Sobey (BRI) $343,300
10. Deyan Vasilievich (ADL) $314,700
