Plantoid have shared a new single titled “Modulator”. It's taken from the Brighton band's debut album, terapath, which will be released February 2 via Bella Union and includes previous outings “Dog’s Life” and “Pressure.” Check out the music video below.

In a press release, guitarist Tom Quinn described “Modulator” as “an exploration of something more groove-oriented, an infectious rhythm section embraced by warm strings and silky vocals, along with a mix of arranged and improvised instrumentation. The calm, the storm, the peaceful end. It explores The track themes of honesty towards oneself.

Singer Chloe Spence added: “The video created by Callie Titmas was produced using a mixture of home videos and found footage in an attempt to curate a nostalgic aesthetic that matches the energy of the song and connects the viewer to ideas of dreams and nature. The visual narrative accompanies the music by suggesting a journey that begins at the bottom Ocean, passing through mountains and finally arriving into space, Kaley manages to capture Modulator's playful energy while portraying one's feeling of inferiority towards nature.
