Investigative journalist Nick Bryant joined political strategist Roger Stone to discuss the latest from the Jeffrey Epstein document released last week.
Bryant, who first discovered and published the contents of Epstein's “Little Black Book” on Gawker in 2015, stated his belief that the intelligence community helped cover up the crimes of those involved with convicted pedophiles and sex traffickers.
He told Stone that the case was “covered up by state and federal authorities” in part because many of the perpetrators involved with Epstein were “high-profile people.”
Second, Bryant claimed during an appearance on StoneZONE that the Department of Justice and the FBI were involved in a cover-up.
“The government is involved. There is a dark, insidious corner of our intelligence that aids and abets child trafficking,” Bryant said.
“When you cover up a crime, you are aiding and abetting that crime. And clearly the Department of Justice and the FBI are aiding and abetting child trafficking. “It's hard to believe, and it causes a tremendous amount of cognitive dissonance, but it's the truth. “I mean, if it weren’t for that, there would be a lot of people in prison right now.”

This isn't the first time we've heard some sort of insinuation that the Justice Department and FBI helped cover up those involved with Epstein over the years.
As Bryant says, if there is It wasn't An ongoing and complex cover-up, Epstein — who was convicted of procuring a girl under 18 in 2008 and was facing sex trafficking charges until his alleged death by suicide in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 — and Ghislaine Maxwell — who is currently serving 20 years in prison for her involvement in the late billionaire's crimes. Pedophilia – You won't be the only people to serve prison time for these crimes against children.
Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) echoed Bryant's comments before the release of the Jeffrey Epstein document, adding that the intelligence community and members of Congress are “at risk” for not providing public information about the notorious sexual predator.
After asserting that “one hundred percent” some lawmakers were at risk, Burchett proceeded to criticize “unelected bureaucrats” in the intelligence community who, in his estimation, were engaged in other efforts to keep information out of the public square.
The congressman claimed that “someone in power” killed Epstein as a “diversion” to take focus away from former President Bill Clinton.

Calls for the formation of a truth and reconciliation commission
Clinton is the most prominent name to appear in Epstein's vault of documents, with perhaps the only exception being Prince Andrew.
This is despite, as Stone points out, the media desperately trying to portray a level of false equivalence with former President Donald Trump's name appearing in the documents.
“I think there's a bit of vindication (for Trump) in these new releases,” Stone asserts.
Both Stone and Bryant appear to agree on the need to form a Truth and Reconciliation Commission in an effort to expose the Epstein scandal at all levels.
Bryant tells StoneZONE viewers that Clinton has appeared on numerous occasions in Epstein's flight listings, something that's been well documented here at The Policy Insider, but it's still nearly impossible to know the extent of his involvement.
“We don't know how many times (Clinton was on the island) and that's the thing about the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, is that we have to know these things,” Bryant told Stone. “We have to know who the politicians are on that island, and who are the politicians who harassed these girls.”
He added: “If we do not do this now, I believe this behavior will continue and our government will become more treacherous and corrupt.”
It doesn't get much messier than that.
