In a 2002 interview with New York MagazineTrump described Epstein as a “wonderful man” and appeared to address his interest in young women.
“They say he likes beautiful women like me, many of whom are younger,” Trump said.
The couple eventually fell out over a Florida real estate deal in 2004, when they both tried to buy the same house.
Trump is mentioned several times in the latest release of documents. In one deposition, a woman who worked for Epstein said he would “call Trump” to go to a casino, after an unscheduled visit to Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Elsewhere in Alessi's testimony, he said he waited for Maxwell to receive a massage before taking her to Mar-a-Lago.

Evidence given by the former housekeeper points to several other prominent figures, including Prince Andrew and his then wife, Sarah Ferguson.
In response to a question about whether the prince would have massage sessions at Epstein’s home, he replied: “Prince Andrew, yes, Prince Andrew spent weeks with us,” adding that the massage sessions would take place “daily.”
There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by Ferguson or Trump.
Trump is one of two former presidents named in unsealed court documents, with Epstein's alleged victims also referring to Bill Clinton in their testimony.
Johanna Sjoberg, who worked as Epstein's massage therapist, said he once told her that Clinton “liked them when they were little,” in what she said was a reference to women.
There is no indication that Clinton was involved in illegal activity, and a spokesman for the former president said he was not aware of Epstein's crimes.
The pair flew together on a trip to Africa on Epstein's plane, and although Giuffre previously claimed that Clinton visited the financier's private island in the Caribbean, no evidence has been provided to support the claim.
