The CES Innovation Awards is an annual competition held by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which honors products with outstanding technologies and innovations. The awards are announced each year prior to CES, the world's largest IT and consumer electronics trade show held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In its first year entering the CES Innovation Awards, HD Hyundai XiteSolution won in two categories – Vehicle Technology and Advanced Mobility and Mobile Devices, Accessories and Applications.
HD Hyundai XiteSolution wins two awards
The HD Hyundai XiteSolution features the Intelligent Collision Mitigation System with Sensor, a system that prevents the risk of accidents on the job site by automatically stopping the machine when people or objects are detected within a certain range of the excavator.
HD Hyundai XiteSolution is the world's first construction equipment manufacturer to use fusion technology to complement machine cameras and radars. The addition of fusion technology significantly raises the level of accuracy in detecting obstacles and distance from equipment compared to machines with a single sensor.
HD Hyundai XiteSolution also features X-Agent, an AI-based machine assistance solution for excavators, wheel loaders, articulated dumpers and other construction equipment. The X-Agent helps improve machine operation and productivity and is created using world-class unmanned automation technology from HD Hyundai.
This technology self-learns and judges equipment information, site environment and work plan using artificial intelligence and provides optimal machine operation guidance to the operator. Remote control is also an option with the X-Agent for tasks on jobsites with limited time and space constraints.
Avikus NeuBoat Navi receives an award
Avikus, an HD Hyundai company specializing in autonomous ship navigation, won the Innovation Award in 2023 for its NeuBoat product. NeuBoat is an independent navigation solution for recreational boaters. This year, Avikus won its second consecutive Innovation Award for an updated version of the product known as “NeuBoat Navi,” which includes improved AI perception and control features as well as a more user-friendly display.
