In an affidavit from one of the agents, he stated that the two agents first went to Floyd's family to look for him. They gave her mother-in-law a card that Floyd said she didn't know if was real or not on the body camera recording.
When agents came to Floyd's apartment after calling him several times on the call box that turned into his cell phone, they decided to wait for him after they learned that he was not home. 30 minutes later, Floyd returned home and the two men approached Floyd and his daughter. According to them, they issued a summons and told him that he had been extradited. They claim that this can be confirmed through audio recording.
