Ultra-liberal Whoopi Goldberg shamelessly attacked Republicans again earlier this week, this time accusing them of torturing women by banning abortion.
Goldberg accuses Republicans of “torturing” women
During Wednesday's episode of her talk show “The View” on ABC, Goldberg spoke to her co-hosts about a recent federal appeals court ruling that will allow Texas to ban emergency abortions.
“So, they are OK with forced birth even if it kills someone, because they are very pro-life.” Goldberg expressed his regret.
“It hampers the pro-life cause if you're saying you're not even at the bare minimum going to have exceptions regarding rape and incest,” The Goldberg co-host Alyssa Farrah Griffin, who previously worked in Donald Trump's administration but has since turned on the former president, shared. Kin and maternal life.
“This is cruel and backward,” she added. “There are people who have strong convictions against abortion. I think we should at least be able to unite around the idea that there is always an exception in all circumstances if the mother's life is at risk.
That's when Goldberg really unleashed.
“To me, it's like this is just a power play,” Goldberg said. “You want to make sure you control someone's body, whether it kills them or not, and you don't care whether it kills them. You don't care that you tear this woman apart.
“She didn’t want to have an abortion. She wanted a baby,” she continued. “The baby is not viable. She doesn't want to go through this, yet you sit there and allow this torture to happen. That's what's wrong, is that you're torturing someone and you know it. Shame on you.”
Goldberg conveniently ignores the fact that black babies are aborted more than any other racial group, according to Michigan Right to Life. In fact, the abortion rate for black women is more than three times the abortion rate for white women in this country, and more than 900 black babies are aborted every day here.

Goldberg claims that God is pro-choice
This is not the first time that Goldberg, who admitted to having an abortion herself when she was 14, has defended the practice. In 2022, she noted that God supports abortion because he gave women “freedom of choice” and “made us smart enough to know when it won't work for us. That's the beauty of giving us freedom of choice,” according to USA Today.
When told that God loves her, Goldberg responded by saying, “Listen. I have no doubt, but I also know that God made me smart enough to know that if there were alternatives that could work for me, I would check them out. But I also know that God said, '” “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I will not make this decision for anyone.”

Goldberg is a former pro-abortion advocate
Earlier in 2022, Goldberg defended abortion as a “humanitarian issue” rather than a “religious issue.”
“This is not a religious issue,” she said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “The reason abortion happens is because women in this country have lived forever with it being illegal. Women, when they decide something isn't right for them, they will take it into their own hands.”
She later added: “Abortion is not easy, and making this decision is not easy.” “It's not something people do lightly! It's not something you can just do! It's a tough, terrible decision that people make. And if you don't have the wherewithal to understand that, start this conversation with 'I know how hard this is for you,' if you start it by telling me I… I'm going to burn in hell, so you don't care about me as a human being, whether I convert to your religion or not. And that's not okay.
It's infuriating that ABC continues to give Goldberg a platform to spread his bullshit to America on a daily basis. She can defend abortion all she wants, but that won't stop many courts across the country from doing the right thing by banning this vile practice.
