    Snow is falling in northern Oklahoma as winter weather sets in

Snow hasn't started accumulating yet on the roads Taylor sees, but the road temperature is about 31 degrees. However, snow continues to accumulate in grassy areas. Taylor also says she's seen Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews salting roads in the area. 6:28 a.m. Friday update: KOCO 5 meteorologist Taylor Cox is located near Medford, where she found a steady stream of heavy snowflakes. The morning started with rain and then turned into a steady fall of heavy snowflakes. Taylor says the snow melts when it hits the road, but it sticks to the grass and accumulates. She added that snow sticks to parked cars and their windshields, but the accumulation does not accumulate on the roads. If you have a scraper, snow shouldn't be a problem when getting out of your car.     Updated Friday 6:38 AM: KOCO 5 Meteorologist Taylor Cox says roads in northern Oklahoma are starting to get colder. Snow has not yet begun to accumulate on the roads Taylor sees, but the road temperature is about 31 degrees.

    But snow is still accumulating in the grassy areas.

    Taylor also says she's seen Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews salting roads in the area.
