Winter storm watches have been lifted for the far western and northwestern suburbs, where snow may accumulate enough to disrupt travel. Some spots are possible in the northern and western suburbs of the area from Saturday morning until the afternoon. Light snow accumulation is possible, especially west and north of I-95 โ the further north and west we go, the greater the chance of seeing an inch or more โ with most places turning to sleet and then rain fairly quickly. Later in the afternoon, rain may be heavy at times.
