The stage is set for David Warner to be the hero on his final day as a Test cricketer.
Three wickets from Josh Hazlewood late on day three put Australia in the box seat to send Warner to the winner at the SCG on Saturday.
Pakistan would resume at 7-68 with a lead of 82 runs on a wicket playing more tricks than David Copperfield.
If the Aussies can get Mohammad Rizwan or Aamer Jamal early, Warner's final Test innings won't be far away.

Hazlewood sets the perfect target for the tough chase
— Tim Michel
Josh Hazlewood has set a target to bowl Pakistan out for less than 130 runs, as Australia look to make it a series win 3-0 on day four at the SCG.
The match situation could not be set up more ideally for David Warner, who is certain to play his final Test innings on Saturday.
Pakistan crashed from 2-58 to 7-68 in a chaotic end to the third day with Hazlewood taking three wickets in an over after Travis Head and Nathan Lyon exposed the visitors' soft underbelly.
“As we've seen with the wickets, it's very difficult. Below 100 would be great but anything below 130 I think would be ideal,” Hazlewood told Fox Cricket.
Hazlewood said Warner would be a “clear key” to Australia's chances of culminating a very difficult series in style.
“It's always nice in these kind of chases to get a quick 40 or 50 and lighten the attack straight away as we've seen for the best part of 10 or 12 years now. He's obviously the key to this chase,” he said.
Don't expect Pat Cummins to call up Warner for a bowl.
“Maybe at 10 and 11 if we put them together,” Hazlewood said.
