President Joe Biden sat down with a “diverse” group of scholars and historians earlier this week to discuss the upcoming anniversary of the Jan. 6 riots.
How diverse? White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre mentioned this repeatedly in a press conference on Thursday.
“He (Biden) has met with historians before before an important national moment, which we are certainly about to see, regarding January 6,” she told reporters.
“He met with these historians — a diverse group of historians to hear… directly from them about their thoughts about our democracy here in this country and abroad,” she added.
Jean-Pierre mentioned the word “diversified” three more times for good measure.

More than half of American voters either believe the FBI was involved on January 6, or are unsure
This diversity likely has not been taken into account by those who do not believe that the Capitol riot was on par with the Civil War.
As evidenced by one of those scholars, Sean Wilentz of Princeton, who told The Washington Post about his lunch with Biden and how January 6th reminded him “of what the secessionists were doing in 1860-61.”
The separatists were democrats.
“Go back and read what was happening in March 1861: They were concerned about the possibilities of Confederate supporters getting into the Capitol and disrupting the normal process of succession of power,” Wilentz explained.
Biden's meeting with historians also does not take into account recent polls showing that 25% of Americans believe that FBI agents organized and encouraged the January 6 attack on the Capitol.
Another 26% say there is enough doubt to make them “unsure” whether the FBI was involved in the events, while 48% believe the idea of FBI involvement is either “likely” or “definitely” false.
FBI informants were undoubtedly part of the planning stages of the January 6 riot, and others have made numerous claims about their activities on that particular day.
Steven Sund, chief of the Capitol Police at the time of the Jan. 6 riot, noted that the FBI had at least 18 undercover agents in the crowd along with an estimated 20 from the Department of Homeland Security.

More Americans are concerned about the integrity of the election
Perhaps more troubling for Democrats is another recent poll showing that a growing number of American voters believe the 2020 election was stolen.
A new Suffolk University poll indicates that two-thirds (67%) of Trump supporters do not believe Biden was legitimately elected president in 2020.
It all depends on how you phrase the question. While former President Trump's claims of voter fraud have not panned out, there is ample evidence that the media and intelligence communities worked overtime to move Biden to the White House.
According to reports, President Biden plans to channel his inner George Washington in a speech commemorating January 6, a day that Democrats have put on par with the attack on Pearl Harbor, September 11, and, of course, the Revolutionary War.
Which is ironic because his party is trying so hard to abolish George Washington.
Biden “will speak near Valley Forge, where 250 years ago then-General Washington organized a coalition of colonial militias during a grim winter and 'united' them to fight for democracy against the British in the Revolutionary War,” the Daily Mail reported.
The newspaper added: “Biden will use the birthplace of the US military to accuse Trump of trying to ‘dismantle and destroy our democracy’ by provoking his supporters to riot when he did not win re-election in 2020.”
The left is trying to rewrite history forever. They do that when it comes to George Washington, and they certainly do that when it comes to January 6th.
Thank you to these scholars and historians. Oh wait, here's Princeton scholar Sean Wilentz again, suggesting that if Trump wins the 2024 presidential election, he'll get rid of everything… TRUE Historians.
“I don't even want to think about what historians will say if Trump wins,” Wilentz said. “I just hope there are historians around.”
strange. Biden is meeting with historians to make sure they are all on the same page regarding January 6, not Trump.
