Donald Trump wrote a column about how he handled the Biden border crisis.
His plans go beyond just finishing the wall. Trump plans to use multiple government agencies to deal with this problem.
This is clearly one of the many reasons the left is so desperate to prevent re-election.
Below is an excerpt from Trump's column, via the Des Moines Register:
Donald Trump: This is how I will end Joe Biden's border debacle on day one
The most urgent task facing the next president is to end Joe Biden's nightmare that is devastating the nation at our southern border. I am the only candidate who will stop this invasion, and I will do it on day one.
Under the Trump administration, we had the most secure border in U.S. history. We ended detention and release, removing more than 1 million illegal aliens in my first term. I negotiated unprecedented agreements with Central American countries and brokered the “Remain in Mexico” initiative to stem the flow of migrants to our border. It also prompted the Mexican government to deploy tens of thousands of soldiers on the border for free…
On my first day back in office, I will end every open border policy of the Biden administration and will immediately restore the full suite of Trump's strong border policies.
Next, we'll start a standard migration process. Joe Biden left us no choice. Millions of illegal aliens who have invaded under Biden require a record number of removals. This makes sense.
To achieve this goal, I will make clear to every administration, state and local governments that we must use all available resources and authorities. We will shift large parts of federal law enforcement to immigration enforcement – including parts of the DEA, the FBI, the FBI, and the Department of Homeland Security.
Biden and his party have allowed our country to be invaded, and this is completely intentional. If Americans want to secure the border, they have only one choice in 2024.
