As Gateway Pundit readers know, Jim Hoft dropped the bombshell two weeks ago that 177 of Jeffrey Epstein's high-profile associates are in for a New Year's surprise in which they will be named in court documents. That moment will arrive sometime this week.
While most speculation has centered on former President Bill Clinton, who is expected to be called “Do-36” in more than fifty redacted files, there may be an unexpected name emerging as well.
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers went on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday and delivered startling news that sent shockwaves through social media: He suggested that “comedian” Jimmy Kimmel was on Epstein's list. Yes, the same Kimmel is notorious for his vile remarks attacking Trump on his ABC show last night and for getting his a** kicked by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in basketball.
“There are a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, who are really hoping this doesn't happen,” Rodgers said.
“I'll tell you, if that list came up, I would definitely pop a bottle of some sort,” he continued.
He watches:
NEW: Quarterback Aaron Rodgers says he will pop “some kind of bottle” when list of Epstein associates is released and suggests naming Jimmy Kimmel.
Everyone is excited

Was Rodgers trolling, or did he have some inside information about the vile Trump hater? We'll find out soon.
Kimmel responded by turning on X. He angrily denied any contact with Epstein while colorfully insulting Rodgers, calling the quarterback an “idiot” and a “soft-minded fool.”
He then accused the midfielder of endangering his family and threatened legal action.
Dear Aasshole: For the record, I have never met, traveled with, visited, or had any contact with Epstein, and you will not find my name on any “list” other than the bogus nonsense that soft-minded fools love. It seems that you cannot distinguish from reality. Your recklessness… https://t.co/p8eug12uiS

X users had a field day with Kimmel's breakdown, and some made sure to bring up his most famous moment: dressing up as NBA Hall of Famer Karl Malone in black.

The revelation of Epstein's client list has become one of the most anticipated events in years. Let us hope that the listed perpetrators are held accountable for their shameful actions.
