An active period of weather will begin Wednesday afternoon and evening with scattered showers arriving across the Georgia coast and the Lowcountry. The first round of rain won't last long, and should end before dawn on Thursday. A more powerful system arrives on Saturday with periods of rain and gusty winds. Rain is likely Saturday morning with wet weather moving out later in the day. Check the latest video broadcast for rainfall timing and the most accurate 10-day forecast for the region.
