“We're going to have a great year. Our country has gone to hell but we're going to turn it around, and we're going to turn it around fast,” Trump said while speaking at the event.

Vanilla Ice praises Trump
This is not the first time Vanilla Ice has sung in the New Year with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago home, as he also did so two years ago.
“He's a legend, bro. Trump? Forget the presidency,” Vanilla Ice said at the time of this performance, according to The Wrap.
“First of all, I don't vote. I don't care about politics, and I never did. I never registered,” he continued. “You don't have an opinion on anything. I don't have… I have fans on both sides, and I would never turn them away. And I look at it like you guys are stuck in this mess.
“You sit in your voting line — they're not paying you. They're not paying you to have an opinion about this guy or that person, but you fall victim to all of that, right?” Vanilla ice added. “Like, turn off the news channel.”

Vanilla Ice Urges People to 'Go to Florida'
And it doesn't stop there, Vanilla Ice has made a recommendation for others who might want to ignore the policy.
“Go to Florida, that's why Florida exists,” he explained. “We have palm trees and piña coladas. While you're sitting in your voting line, you're watching your news channel and you're saying, ‘I don't like Trump, I don't like Biden, I don't like what's going on in my life.'”
After claiming to have “lived through a dozen presidents,” Vanilla Ice said: “Man, nothing's ever changed. Why fall victim to propaganda and opinion shaping – they don't pay you a dime!”
Vanilla Ice ended his comments by giving his thoughts on the younger generation.
“Wisdom is something we all need, and Generation X knows it more than anyone on the planet,” the rapper said. “And I feel sorry for the kids that are growing up in this world today, playing Fortnite and s-t. That's not real. Let's get real, man.”
He concluded by saying: “The truth is what you and I are doing now: we are speaking in person, publicly, and seeing each other and not through a computer screen.” “We are the last living generation that will know what it's like to live without a computer. This will never happen again. We are the last alive.”

The vast majority of artists will be too afraid of the cancel culture crowd to ring in the new year with Trump. We applaud Vanilla Ice for still having the courage to celebrate with Trump in public, and we hope they both enjoy their New Year's celebration!
