The Lemon Twigs have released a new song called “My Golden Years” along with an accompanying video. It's the band's first new music since last year Everything is harmony. Check out the Ambar Navarro directed clip below.
“My Golden Years” is about “making every minute count and living up to your potential,” the sister duo shared in a statement, adding: “In that sense, I think people like Mark Ruffalo or people who take walks might like the song. Or it might be good While exercising.
Navarro added, “The 'My Golden Years' video is about looking back at the good old days, and the highs and lows of trying to make it as a band. We wanted to incorporate situations like going broke and getting fired while being lighthearted and humorous about it. When you're trying to make it as an artist, there's A weakness is exposing yourself to constant rejection that can be harsh, but the band finds its peace and complete freedom performing in an open field.
