Tuesday, partly cloudy and breezy, wintry weather for the weekend

Updated: 1:06 PM EDT on January 2, 2024

Meteorologist Tony Pan says the rest of the day will be partly cloudy and breezy, with temperatures in the mid-40s. These conditions will continue into Wednesday with a chance for a wintry mix early Thursday morning. We are watching a major winter system that looks like it will bring our first significant snow accumulation in some time. Most of the snow is expected to fall on Saturday and will continue into Sunday with temperatures only in the upper 30s. The storm is scheduled to subside at the beginning of next week.
